About Us

HISTORY

Belforest Christian Church was established in 1913 for the purpose of ministering to the needs of what was then a small rural farming community. We moved into a permanent building in 1915, and in the 1960’s we built our current facility. We have been blessed to have tremendous leadership over the years and are excited about our future and how we can continue to meet the needs of a community which is growing! Belforest and surrounding Daphne are no longer rural farm towns, they are thriving, modern, and ever-expanding communities with some of the best people and schools in the entire state! We are richly blessed by the people we have the pleasure to serve.

We have come to recognize that the spiritual needs of our community have changed and we need to adapt in order to continue to meet those needs. As such, we are on the front-end of major renovations! We are not just renovating the building, we are renovating our hearts, our worship gathering, and our mission focus. If you watch long enough you will see change on the outside, but we are most excited about the change on the inside! We invite you to come and see what it’s all about.
