LEADERSHIP TEAM
We believe that salvation comes by confession of sin and faith in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, to believe in the heart that Jesus died and rose from the dead, and to proclaim with the mouth that He is Lord. We believe the Old and New Testaments to be the infallible Word of God; inerrant as originally given, verbally inspired by God, the complete and sufficient revelation of His will for salvation and conduct. We believe in the Great Commission; to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the earth. Amen.

Jef joined Belforest Christian Church in the fall of 2019. He has a passion for church growth, evangelism and church planting. Pastor Jef is married to Jackie and they have 4 children; Grace, Liberty, Triden, & Coda.

Jackie never imaged becoming a pastors wife when she married Jef in 2002! When she is not homeschooling their 4 children she leads worship and teaches childrens church on Sunday mornings. Jackie is a gifted vocalist and teacher.
Mike Gelsie

Mike and his wife, Anne, have been serving Belforest Christian Church for 25 years. Mike is invested in seeing the church healthy and thriving in the 21st century.
Scott Farmer
Elder
Scott is a Baldwin County native. When he is not working or spending time with his family he utilizes his talents keeping the facilities in good repair.
Jack Noonan
Elder
Jack and his wife Barbara retired in Baldwin County after snow-birding for several years. Jack has built churches and served in missions all over south America. We are pleased to have a man of his caliber on the leadership team.
Anne Gelsie
Treasurer
Since retiring from the medical labs industry, Anne enjoys traveling with Mike and spending time with her Grandchildren. Anne also leads a women’s bible study and is a gifted teacher.
